Adoption Assistance Grants
Adopting can be expensive. CFLM wants to help reduce the financial barriers to adoption through our Adoption Assistance Grant. Review our eligibility requirements below to see if you qualify to apply for funding. If you qualify, scroll down for application instructions.
Our grant cycle will reopen on July 1st with the following deadlines:
September 15th, December 15th, March 15th, June 15th
Adoptive Parent Support
Consideration for this grant is given to the following:
Christian couples living in the state of GA
Some applicants living outside the state of GA may be considered if they have lived in the state within the past 5 years. Please inquire about eligibility before completing the application.
Those who have completed their home study through a licensed agent or agency
Those adopting through a licensed child-placing agency
Some private/independent adoptions may be eligible. Please inquire about eligibility before completing an application.
Some adoptions from foster care may be eligible if the couple has been deemed ineligible for Title IV-E Adoption Assistance. Please inquire about eligibility before completing an application.
Step-parent/relative adoptions are not eligible.
Please note that while we will accept applications from families using an adoption facilitator or consultant, we cannot review your application until you are working with a licensed placing agency. In addition, CFLM cannot contribute to expenses paid to any facilitator/consultant. For an explanation of why we discourage the use of facilitators/consultants, read more here.
Those who have invested their own time and money into the adoption process.

Once received, complete applications will be shared with our Board of Directors' Grant Review Committee which will work to have a response to the grant application within 4 weeks, though your patience is appreciated if more time is required.
