All God’s Children was incorporated in 1997 in an effort to provide more adoption opportunities for the children who wait. All God’s Children is committed to preparing families for the challenges of adopting and fostering, matching families with waiting children and supporting families after a child is placed in the home and also assists in the placement of waiting children (adoption only) in state custody elsewhere in the United States.

Bethany Christian Services is a global nonprofit that brings families together and keeps them together through their adoption, foster care, and pregnancy counseling services. They are located in 36 states and many countries around the world, where they equip families to be what children need as Christ intended them to be.


clarke county division of family and children services

The Clarke Co. Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) investigates reports of child abuse, finds foster and adoptive homes for children who have been abused or neglected, helps low-income families by issuing SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF, and provides many other support services to assist families in need in Clarke County.


Children First

Children First, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Athens, Ga. dedicated to promoting safe homes for children in times of family crisis. Children First administers four programs: Athens-Oconee CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Family Time Community Visitation, SPARC (Supportive Parenting and Access Resource Center), and Safe Care.


Court appointed special advocates for children

The Athens-Oconee Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) exists to serve the hundreds of children in foster care in Clarke and Oconee Counties. Through CASA, trained volunteers advocate for the children in the court system, the social service systems, and community services to ensure that each child maintains their rights to an appropriate placement and transition to a permanent home.

Home in 5 is a public-private partnership to increase foster care

lifeline children's services

Lifeline Children's Services is a Christian, international and domestic adoption and foster care agency that seeks to equip believers to manifest the Gospel in the lives of orphaned or vulnerable children. They desire to place children in Christian families where they will become disciples and go on to make disciples and be part of transforming their communities.



Promise686 is a non-profit organization in Georgia that equips families and churches to care for orphans and foster children. They strive to fulfill God's promise in Psalm 68:6 that He will place the lonely in families by reducing the barriers in adopting or fostering children, providing financial assistance, and education the community so that more children will have the opportunity to live in a nurturing home with a loving family.

Remember the One is a non-profit internet based site created to help any "one" in their stories of health, spiritual, or life issues. They provide people going through their hard journeys with the resources to connect, update, and share their stories so that no "one" will ever feel alone.


Uniting hope 4 children 

Uniting Hope 4 Children is a faith based non-profit organization based in Georgia that works to recruit, train, and encourage foster families and care for abused and neglected children by placing them in loving homes. They support families through the entire process of foster care, whether it is reunification with biological families or placing children in adoptive families.
