Mission:

Through the Chosen for Life Ministries Clothes Closet, we hope to be ever mindful of our community, to serve with compassion, to show respect for those in need, and to share the many blessings bestowed upon us through God's grace.

Children most often come into foster care bringing no personal possessions with them to the foster home - normally, this means they have no clothing of their own. A community clothes closet is a resource for foster families to visit quickly after receiving a placement and pick up quality clothing for these children free of charge. Through the generous provision of children's clothing and other items from the community, foster families will be able to use their resources in other ways for the children in their homes.

Seeking to follow Christ's example to love our neighbor as ourselves, the Chosen for Life Ministries Clothes Closet is a tangible way that people in our community can share their resources with other who will be greatly blessed by them. By sharing gently used children's clothing (from infant through size 7T) and other items with local foster families, you can help provide for and encourage the families that are caring for these children, while also showing the love of Jesus to the children and helping build their self esteem by providing quality clothing that they will feel good about wearing.
