Care Teams
Through local church partnership, foster families receive ongoing, wrap-around support from teams of volunteers.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We believe that everyone has a role to play in caring for local foster children. We want to invite you and your church to find a role in caring for these kids. As you read more, consider how you might be called to play a part in the community of churches seeking to care for vulnerable children and the families caring for them.
CARE TEAMS:
Care Teams are typically organized by local churches in partnership with CFLM. Each team surrounds a local foster family to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support. Every Care Team looks a little different, but typically a Care Team provides a weekly meal and meets other needs for the family like, childcare, transportation, mentorship, prayer, and encouragement. You can be a part of what Chosen for Life Ministries is doing, too! To join a Care Team, simply fill out the form on our Care Team Volunteer page.
FOSTER FAMILIES:
Are you a foster family interested in working with a Care Team from the community to best care for the kids in your home? Read more about the support that can be offered through a Care Team or request a Care Team for your family by visiting our Foster Family webpage.
