My Name Matters Program News!

We are excited to now include pajama sets with every My Name Matters set we give to a child in foster care thanks to Pajama Program - Georgia Chapter! We are also so grateful for the recent grant we received from Walton EMC's Operation Round-Up to help purchase items for our My Name Matters gift sets.

The Pajama Program believes

"...that every child has the right to a good night's sleep [and] that by offering the magical gifts of pajamas and books, we bring a caring bedtime ritual into each child's life. Changing out of their clothes and into warm, cozy pajamas lets them shed the stresses of their day, trading them for feelings of warmth and hope. These unconditional gifts fill them with love and a feeling of being cared for, transitioning them to bedtime and delivering a good night — preparing them for a good day that leads to a better life."

Each My Name Matters set now includes a large embroidered duffle bag, a personalized pillowcase and towel, a comfy pair of pajamas, and a Jesus Storybook Bible. By including pajamas in our My Name Matters bags, we can help to validate each child's worth through this gift!

If you live in Clarke or Oconee County and have a foster child in your home and would like to give them a My Name Matters set, please fill out a request on our website
