From Anna Bearden, Executive Director, Chosen for Life Ministries
Chosen for Life Ministries is continuing to grow! We are excited to announce Jessi Williams is joining our team in the new position of Foster Care Initiative Director.
Jessi is from the Vidalia, GA area. She completed her undergraduate education as well as a Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Georgia. Jessi has experience in various aspects of child welfare including counseling birthparents, working with foster families, and engaging churches in ministry to vulnerable children and families with our partner organization Promise686.
“Having volunteered with this ministry during college, I am so excited to be back serving with Chosen for Life. Children and families in this community have been greatly impacted by the Church. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the local church as we reach communities with the Hope that is found in Christ."
- Jessi Williams, Foster Care Initiative Director
We are eager for all that Jessi brings to our team, and we are excited to continue the work and growth that Chosen for Life has been a part of within our community! As Foster Care Coordinator, Kelly Brooks has been instrumental to our Foster Care Initiative since its beginning in 2014 and will continue to work alongside Jessi as we grow into the 12-counties within DFCS Region 5.
“I am excited to continue investing in the relationships with church Advocates who are overseeing foster care ministries throughout Clarke and Oconee counties, as the Foster Care Initiative Coordinator. I’m looking forward to focusing on supporting these Advocate relationships while Jessi works with growth and building connections with churches and families throughout the Region!” - Kelly Brooks, Foster Care Initiative Coordinator
We are eager to see what the Lord has in store for this region and the work He continues to do through the Foster Care Initiative. If you would like to reach out to Jessi and welcome her to our team, please email her at email@example.com. We are grateful for each of your continued prayers as we grow throughout the region!
