More Than Grants
We know that adoption is a many step journey that does not start nor end when a child joins a family. CFLM desires to support families on this journey both pre and post-adoption through our Adoption Support Program. Families often describe the wait to bring their sons and daughters home as an incredibly difficult stage. We currently have 22 families waiting to bring sons and daughters home. Some of these families are matched with a child (or children) and others are still waiting to match. Some are held up by slowed processes and program suspensions due to Covid-19. Regardless of the circumstances, our goal is to support families while they wait.
Care packages are in the mail to our waiting families thanks to the generous support of our donors. It is our prayer that these small gifts will remind them that the CFLM family is praying for them in their wait and serve as helpful tools for their family now and for years to come.

FOSTER CARE CHRISTMAS PARTY
‘Tis the season! And we are almost READY! Our annual Foster Family Christmas Party for Clarke and Oconee families is one of our favorite events of the year. This is a special time for foster families to gather together celebrating Christmas with families like theirs. We play games, make Christmas crafts, decorate cookies, give gifts, and much more. If you would like to help spread some Christmas cheer this year to foster families and children in care, we have some very simple ways for you to support this event.
Shopping on our Amazon Wishlist ensures that we will have all the most needed supplies for games, crafts, and gifts.
We also have opportunities to support the Christmas Party available including volunteering at the event.
