Everyone Can Do Something!!

At Chosen for Life Ministries, we believe that the church is called to care for the orphan. Our upcoming Choosing to Care Conference speaker, Jason Johnson, shares our belief that we aren't all called to do the same thing, but we are all very capable of doing something to grow awareness and serve! Not every person is called to adopt or to foster, but there are so many unique opportunities to show love and support to the orphan and the fatherless.

Thank you to Redeemer Presbyterian Church's Youth Group for contributing so uniquely with their "Piano Smash Fundraiser" benefiting Chosen for Life! The youth group took an old, broken piano that was way beyond repair and "put it to rest the old fashioned way... by smashing it to pieces!"

Each student was encouraged to bring or raise their own money to buy a turn at smashing the piano. The event was an opportunity for students to learn more about this orphan care ministry in their community and to personally partner with the ministry by donating the proceeds from the event.

We were incredibly encouraged by this event and so thankful for RPC Youth! What a great example of "Everyone can do something!"
