After getting her Masters in Clinical Social Work, Kelly has worked since 2000 in the field of foster care. Kelly has a strong passion for foster care and for helping foster families get the support they need to be able to foster well. In early 2014, Kelly left her job doing contract therapy for DFCS to begin working as the first staff member for Chosen for Life Ministries. Kelly and her husband, Steven, have three biological children: Emily, Micah, and Carter. They began as foster parents themselves in March 2015. The family goes to Faith Presbyterian Church, where Steven is the associate pastor.
