Thanks to the Many Hands!

Chosen for Life Ministries is incredibly blessed by the outpour of support from so many churches and volunteers! It is amazing to see churches around the community find creative ways to support our ministry every day. We have the unique opportunity to see many churches come together with their resources to meet the needs of adoptive and foster families throughout the community.

On Orphan Sunday, Watkinsville First Baptist Church held a Clothing Drive to supply clothing and resources to purchase hygiene items that will be distributed to foster families through Chosen for Life's Clothes Closet and their own new Clothes Closet!

These are the many items collected at Watkinsville First Baptist Church's clothing drive on Orphan Sunday. Volunteers helped us sort all of the items based on size, and helped hang up clothes in Chosen for Life's Clothes Closet. We are so thankful for all of the support!

Volunteers from different churches, including those through Athens Church's Be Rich Campaign, came together on Tuesday to help us sort all of the donations for the respective Clothes Closets - infant sizes through size 6 will stay at Chosen for Life while sizes 7 through 18 will go to Watkinsville First Baptist's new Clothes Closet.

We love to see churches partner together and use their resources to join us as we provide support to foster families and their children. It takes many hands to accomplish the work we are doing, and it's wonderful to see churches working together as the hands and feet of Christ!

Thank you Watkinsville First Baptist Church and Athens Church for answering the call this Orphan Sunday! We so appreciate every donation and every volunteer who helped us prepare our Clothes Closet.

We continue to be amazed by the generosity shown to us, and we are excited to offer these resources to foster families in our community.
