MARY LEE HERRON
Executive Director

Mary Lee earned a Masters of Social Work degree with a certificate in Non-profit Management from the University of Georgia. Throughout her education, Mary Lee worked in many different fields within the non-profit sector including two local non-profits, The Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia and The Stable Foundation that served those experiencing homelessness. Near the end of her graduate school career, she began working closely with Chosen For Life Ministries and spent the next four years on the Board of Directors. After volunteering with CFLM as a board member while working as the Executive Administrator at Downtown Ministries, Mary Lee now serves as CFLM's first Executive Director. Mary Lee is a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, where her husband, Rob, is an Assistant Pastor.

BRIAN KING
Director of Development

After more than 14 years as an investment advisor, Brian stepped into the role of Director of Development for CFLM in March of 2016. Prior to accepting this staff position, Brian has coordinated the Both Hands Project for CFLM since 2013. Brian and his wife Shari have a strong passion to support foster and adoptive families, and the children they care for. Brian and Shari also serve as foster parents and hope to one day adopt. They have three biological children: Brandon, Joshua, and Noah. They are members of Watkinsville First Baptist Church.

KELLY BROOKS
Foster Care Initiative Coordinator

After getting her Masters in Clinical Social Work Kelly has worked since 2000 in the field of foster care.  Kelly has a strong passion for foster care and for helping foster families get the support they need to be able to foster well.  In early 2014 Kelly left her job doing contract therapy for DFCS to begin working as the first staff member for Chosen for Life Ministries. Kelly and her husband, Steven have three biological children: Emily, Micah and Carter.  They began as foster parents themselves in March 2015.  The family goes to Faith Presbyterian Church where Steven, is the associate pastor.

Stephanie majored in Accounting and earned a Masters of Arts in Nonprofit Management from the University of Georgia. She partnered with Chosen for Life Ministries on a graduate school project, and now serves as CFLM's Ministry Assistant. She is passionate about working in ministry, and strives to show the love of Christ to others through her work every day. She is a member of Christ Community Church.
